For the past two years I have been researching the Restoration, in an effort to know the truth and to defend the LDS Church against detractors that I might encounter. The more that I read, the more I realized that there are problems with LDS church history and the current LDS organization.

I heard about The Sealed Portion (SP) in a roundabout way; so I went to the internet. I looked at two websites that were of no spiritual or gospel value. The third website, “www.thesealedportion.com” caught my attention. After reading a few verses, I immediately received a testimony of the truthfulness of “The Sealed Portion of the Book of Mormon, The Final Testament of Jesus Christ.” It was a feeling of recognition or remembrance.

While reading, I had the quick thought about how my acceptance of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and the SP would affect my relationship with my LDS family, especially, at marriages, baptisms, ordinations, and other church related activities. That night I had a dream that a lion was chasing me. I was terrified and I kept watching him and ran every time he saw me. Even though, I was afraid, I knew that he loved me. When the lion caught me, he held me. I realized that I was being hugged. The thought came to me that I should not be afraid of the Lion Of Judah (Jesus Christ.) It was a funny dream, but it put everything in perspective for me. I know that if I live according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, everything will work for my good and the benefit of my family and friends.

I am experiencing increasing happiness as I read and re-read the SP. The Book of Mormon has been my favorite book, and now I feel that I know the rest of the story. My Testimony continues to grow.

I am thankful that The Sealed Portion of the Book of Mormon, The Final Testament of Jesus Christ has come forth during my lifetime. I invite and encourage all to read, ponder, pray and obey the commandments and the inspiration you will receive.

I know that The Sealed Portion is the Gospel of Jesus Christ or Heavenly Father’s Plan.
