STORY: MY PERSONAL SEARCH FOR THE ESSENCE OF LIFE
The word essence can be traced to the Latin word essential, from esse, meaning to be. Merriam-Webster Online defines essence to mean “the permanent as contrasted with the accidental element of being ... the individual, real, or ultimate nature of a thing . ...”
Scientists and philosophers have yet to discover the essential ingredient or missing link that reveals what causes us to be, establishes who we are, and answers the question why we exist. But I have discovered this missing link – the very essence of life – through my discovery of a book:
HUMAN REALITY: Who We Are and Why We Exist!
My Search
My search for human reality began as a child, motivated in part by the trauma I experienced after learning from my austere grandmother that I would one day die. At age four, after watching the portrayal of men dying on TV, I defiantly announced to Grammy, “I will never die.” She responded pointedly, “Of course, you will die. Everyone dies.”
I started to cry, for I was forced to face the harsh reality of death, before I felt prepared to do so. Grammy, however, demanded that, because everyone dies (and I would be no exception), I would have to stop fussing about it. I was expected to “grow up” and get over it! Grammy did not tell me at the time not to worry, because there would be life after death. I was left to my own resources to search out that possibility, which inclined me toward religion and the philosophies of men.
I was a somber child, with a curious, seeking mind. I was a lonely worrier without a clue as to the meaning of my existence. Being clueless, however, would not deter me from trying to find clues as to who I am and why I exist, which I searched for over the next several decades, seemingly in VAIN.
One day, for example, in my mid-teens, I literally tried to force out of thin air an understanding of the reality of the purpose of my life. I took some blank sheets of paper, my manual typewriter, a chair, and a card table to the back yard. I fully expected that, if I just started to type, the real truth about the meaning of life would simple distill upon me from the HOLDER OF ALL TRUTH, whoever or whatever that was. But, sadly for me, the answers didn't come. And I returned to the house with the sheets of paper still blank.
Later, in college, I found myself one Sunday afternoon kneeling in a room with two Christian friends I had just met, after listening to an evangelical Christian campus minister. Raised Methodist, with only a platonic relationship with God, I had been persuaded to “invite Christ into my heart” and to establish a “personal relationship” with him. I “accepted the Lord as my personal Savior,” as I was instructed to do, and immersed myself in a study of the New Testament of the Bible. It was a momentarily blissful experience, followed by months of confusion, imbalance and regret that I had ever made the “pledge.”
A year later, having forsaken the “born again” movement, I faced off against another group of religionists—the Mormons, named after a book claiming to be “another testament of Jesus Christ,” besides the Bible—the Book of Mormon. My best friend David had been taking the “missionary lessons” from the young, full-time “elders” of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (“LDS Church”). I accepted the missionaries’ “challenge” to read the Book of Mormon, in part to protect David from the Mormons.
I made myself vulnerable to truth, by accepting the challenge of the Book Mormon writer Moroni to “ask God ... if these things are not true,” with his promise that, “if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.” (Moroni 10:4.)
I also read the words written by Moroni’s father, Mormon, who claimed that I could know how to judge truth from error, or good from evil: “For behold, the Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that he may know good from evil; wherefore, I show unto you the way to judge; for every thing which inviteth to do good, and to persuade to believe in Christ, is sent forth by the power and gift of Christ; wherefore ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of God.” (Moroni 7:16.)
Upon reading the words of Mormon, I felt my mind expand and my heart swell; and, as promised by Moroni, the truth of “these things” was manifested to me “by the power of the Holy Ghost.” (At this time, however, I do not know who the Holy Ghost is and how easy it is to deny him.)
Just days after experiencing the truth of Mormon’s words and the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, and not understanding how to separate the impact the Book of Mormon had on me from the religion called Mormonism that men had attempted to build in response to the book, I was baptized and confirmed a member of the LDS Church, which erroneously claims to be the only true church on earth. My friend David was baptized the same evening, relying in part on my “testimony” concerning the Book of Mormon and the logic that I applied that the church that brought it to me must be true also. In this respect, I suppose I “failed” us both. Decades later, David died a faithful member and local leader of the church, believing to his dying breath that he had consecrated his all to the only true and living church upon the face of the earth. I now know better.
After graduating from college, I served a full-time mission for the LDS Church. Less than a year after my return, I was married in the Salt Lake Temple. For more than 30 years I served in many local LDS Church leadership positions. By Fall 2008, I had been married 32 years to a faithful, active Mormon, having raised four children, each a faithful, active Mormon. The Mormon missionaries, in fact, were now living with my wife and me, because we were such “exemplary saints.”
My Discovery of the Marvelous Work and a Wonder®
One evening, the young elders and I were having a discussion about part of the record referenced in the Book of Mormon that was not translated and published, but was “sealed” or withheld from the world, until a future day. To learn more, I search on the Internet the words “sealed portion” and “Book of Mormon.” My search led me to the website, www.thesealedportion.com, and to the discovery of The Sealed Portion—The Final Testament of Jesus Christ.
I began a dialogue (initially contentious) with the man called Christopher Marc Nemelka, the translator of the sealed portion relating to Book of Mormon. This dialogue eventually led to my softening to the truth about Christopher and about the Work in which he is engaged, the Marvelous Work and a Wonder®. Certain of the more soft parts of my communications to Christopher are shared below; the more contentious parts can be viewed in the questions/ section of www.thesealedportion.com:
“Hello, Christopher. I am reading, studying, pondering and praying about the sealed portion. It’s an amazing work, worthy of testing for its truth just as the Book of Mormon is.” (Email, October 27, 2008.)
“I am prepared to consider that I have been deceived all of my life by false teachings. I joined [the Mormon] church only because I was willing to pray to the Father in secret whether the Book of Mormon is true. I joined this church only because I knew Joseph Smith was a prophet by the same power of the Holy Ghost. I am willing to leave this church as inspired by the same Spirit.” (Email, November 13, 2008.)
“I am about to lose my wife, children, and closest friends, whatever happens with my investigation of [this] work. They say I have the spirit of the devil, and am an apostate. I have felt a different Spirit from those who claim they have the companionship of the Holy Ghost. I have told them I would follow my Spirit to HELL, if need be. Perhaps I am not following Lucifer, but I could be. But I didn’t realize Lucifer could give me such peace of mind and conscience as I [now] have by this Spirit within me, whatever source. ... I confess I know not how you could have made these things up. ... And it does not taste of an evil work; for so much of it is sweet to me.” (Email, November 16, 2008.)
“Brother Christopher. I now know you are the bearer of the message of Christ to all the world.” (Email, later November 2008.)
Efforts to Apply Human Reality to My Life
Just days after I sent the last email above, I was invited by Christopher to become the legal representative of him and of this Work. Neither the young elders, nor my former wife, nor my children, nor any friend or LDS Church acquaintance joined me on my new journey. I now live singly and alone, excommunicated from the LDS Church, because I embraced The Sealed Portion – The Final Testament of Jesus Christ.
I have generally, however, laid aside my former religious thinking and terminology and seek instead to think, speak and live in terms of human reality. In fact, some of the most profound growth I have experienced in my life has not been through reading the “scriptures,” such as the Bible and the Book of Mormon, despite my years of study of them, but rather through a book, anonymously written, associated with this Marvelous Work and a Wonder®, but conspicuously free of religious terms – HUMAN REALITY- Who We Are and Why We Exist! (www.humanreality.org.)
This book has answered all of my questions about the essence of life. There are no material questions of life upon which I am left to speculate. I have found real truth that cannot be found in any other book. I now know who I am and why I exist.
Speaking figuratively, I now know who my true God is ... and the true Holy Ghost ... and where the kingdom of God is located. Most importantly, I now know the essence of life; for I have tapped into my own essence, my true self, to whom I desire to remain true. And I invite all to come unto this Work and to learn for themselves the essence of their life, even their own human reality, even who they are and why they exist!
Nevertheless, receiving the “good news” about human reality did not immediately free me from the chains of ignorance, weakness and foolishness, as one might suppose by reading my exclamations above. I learned that more personal preparation was required of me, before I could claim to understand this Work and before I could claim that it has made a significant change in my life.
Preparing for THE TEST
When Christopher invited me to become the legal representative of him and of this Work, he told me that I could soon come to have “a full understanding of the mysteries of God . ...” In the meantime, he encouraged me to “[k]eep pondering truth as it really is, not how you have thought it to be.”
Over the next several months, however, it became clear to Christopher (and to me) that I was a hard case and an unlikely candidate for a “fullness” of truth, because of my human weaknesses and foolishness. Those weaknesses and that foolishness are confirmed through public disclosure found in the Marvelous Work and a Wonder® Official Discussion Group, which anyone can join at www.marvelousworkandawonder.com.
In fact, Christopher announced the following on the Discussion Board: “I am quite perplexed (part of the bitterness in my belly) to know that Rod has read the HUMAN REALITY book and still doesn't ‘get it.’”
Several days after making the above statement, Christopher wrote me personally, admonishing me in part, “Get a clue, Rod! ... Find yourself and then you'll know what we know. ... Find yourself and you will find peace.”
I responded, “[I]f I can serve better by finding myself in this incarnate [then] you better believe I'M GONNA FIGURE THIS OUT ... SOON!!!!! I know you can't and won't violate my free agency/will. I give you PERMISSION, however, to reveal to me whatever you can short of that to speed up this process. Am I really THAT FOOLISH that I don't have a clue? What is my STUMBLING BLOCK? What am I doing or not doing to figure this out? WHAT DO I YET LACK? I WANT YOU AND THIS WORK TO HAVE EVERYTHING FROM ME. WHAT HAVE I NOT YET LAID ON THE ALTAR? TELL ME AND I WILL DO IT.”
Two days later, on July 10, 2009, Christopher presented to the world, friend and foe alike, “THE TEST” (described in Christopher’s own words below). My personal response to Christopher that day was, “Yes, THE TEST, is what I have yet lacked ... and I have BEGUN the GREAT EXPERIMENT UPON YOUR WORDS.”
I began THE TEST on July 11, 2009, after carefully preparing for it the day before. I continued to experiment upon Christopher’s words, by taking THE TEST daily for the prescribed 21 days.
As confirmed by Christopher, and then by one’s own experience, THE TEST is infallible. It is verifiable proof of the true nature of this Work, this Marvelous Work and a Wonder®. It proves that this Work is the only work sanctioned by our mutual creators. It proves that this work comprises the totality of the real truth. It proves that Christopher has been chosen to administer this Work on our behalf at this time, heading towards the winding up of mortal existence, preparatory to the return of the Christ. Perhaps even more exciting, THE TEST offers promises of PEACE and HAPPINESS not heretofore experienced by most mortal men and women.

THE TEST (In Christopher’s Own Words)
“For exactly 21 days, one must do the following:
“Forget about everything that you have been taught to believe about religion, about God, about heaven and hell, about what you “should” and “should not” do to please the God that you have been convinced by others, since your birth into this mortality, watches over you and is concerned about you.
“Become like a little child in regard to your understanding of all religious principles, doctrines, explanations, faiths, beliefs, and commandments, including any of those you have received from this Marvelous Work and a Wonder®.
“What does a little child know about religion, except that which the child is taught by the parent or teacher? The child is not born with any notion to pray, to worship, to go to church or to pay tithing to an organization or institution based on faith. What is “faith” to a child? The child is not born with a natural instinct to do this or not to do that.
“The child exists to fulfill the self; or in other words, be happy.
“The child reacts to its environment in search of this happiness. This happiness is a self-fulfillment of the needs of both the physical body and the emotional cognitive (thinking) requirements the child already possesses when born into this world.
“Though the child does not know how to distinguish a “bad” person from a “good” person, the child does recognize the physical demonstration of a smile and can sense the positive energy levels at which the smile is given. Put a little child in the arms of a condemned murderer on death row and watch the reaction of both the child and the condemned. The condemned’s smile causes the same reaction in the child as it does in any other adult.
“If you have accepted the first part of the test—to become like a little child—then you will open your mind to my words and my instruction. You must cast away everything that you have learned. You must forget about everything that you are trying to learn about truth (a child does not try to learn about anything—the child is taught).
“Here is my instruction:
“Every day, for 21 days, you must read the following words given below, never minding that they are taken from “religious” sources. Look at them as just words, instructions, even my words upon which you are experimenting to see if they are good and if they produce exactly what I say they will produce. Never mind who gave the words. You do not have to believe in the man who first gave the words. In fact, assume that he is a fictional character invented in the minds of delusional and distraught people, who haven’t a clue about true reality.
“Make no character or value judgment about who said the words. Assume that I made them up for the purposes of this test. Do not concern yourself whether or not the words are right or wrong, true or untrue, translated correctly or not. For isn’t the reason why you are taking the test to prove the words? Therefore, for the test to be pure and infallible, you cannot assume that the words are good, just because you already might believe that they are. You must be willing to apply the test to prove that they are good.
“If you already believe that the words are good, it is because you have been taught this since you were a little child. But part of this test is to throw out everything that you have learned since you were a little child, accepting nothing that you have learned as “good” or “bad.” Remember, this is the first part of the test, a prerequisite to being able to properly experiment upon the words.
“The words referenced below will be the guideline for all of your actions for the 21 days that you apply the test. Everything you do and everything you think must follow the guidelines given in these words.
“So that the guidelines are forefront in your mind, you must read the entire set of guidelines, or all of the words every day of the 21 days.
“Again, all that you do and all that you think must follow the guidelines set down by the words.
“Those of you who have been inculcated in the Christian persuasion have the words given in what you have been taught to accept as the “word of God” in the Bible. But again, keep in mind that an important part of the test is that you do NOT accept them as the “word of God,” but only a guideline for you to follow during this test. They could be true and produce what I am about to promise you they will produce—thus proving the veracity of my calling and this work—or they will not produce what I promise, thereby proving that I am a false prophet and that this work is not true and should be avoided at all costs.
“These words (guidelines for this test) are found in the New Testament in the book of Matthew, chapters 5, 6, and 7. However, in this book, they are not translated correctly and many of the plain and precious parts that make them clearer are not published in the Christian Bible. These words have been cross-referenced to another “religious” source of what some believe is also the “word of God” along with the Bible. The exact same words are given in what is known as the Book of Mormon. They are found in the book called 3 Nephi, chapters 12, 13, and 14.
“Now,
“The Bible and the Book of Mormon, (which you all must accept as false for the purposes of this test,) were published long before this Marvelous Work and a Wonder began. The Bible has been around for centuries and the Book of Mormon was published in 1830. Therefore, by me using the words of these books as a part of an infallible test to prove the veracity of my work, would render the test fallible by those who believe that the Bible and Book of Mormon are true. An LDS critic or a Christian critic would claim that since “the words” are already true, then of course, what they produce will also be true; therefore, Christopher’s test if flawed from the beginning.
“That is why, for purposes of this infallible test, one must use the words that have been translated correctly from the Urim and Thummim which I possess. They must follow the guidelines of the words that were produced from this work. For this work claims to have retranslated the words correctly, very closely to how they were originally produced by the man who said them, putting back into the words the plain and precious parts that were left out of the biblical and LDS versions of the words.
“Therefore, by acting upon the words produced from this work, a true test of the words of this work is given.
“One taking the test must read the words every day given in the OFFICIAL AND VERIFIED ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE WORDS GIVEN BY THE MAN, JESUS, THE CHRIST, a translation that can only be found in this work.
“A link to a complete PDF file of these words is given below.”
“Now for the proof of this work:
“If this work is true, and I am who I claim to be, then upon reading the words every day, and upon incorporating them into all of one’s actions and thoughts for a period of 21 days,
“ONE WILL SENSE A PERSONAL PEACE AND BE GIVEN AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE SELF UNLIKE ANYTHING EVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE UPON THIS EARTH.
“One will no longer need any emotional stimulants, prescription or otherwise, to feel a deep sense of happiness and contentment that cannot be produced by anything upon this earth.
“One will see the world in a completely different light, even in a light that is discernable, that makes complete sense.
“That is the promise. That is the verification that these words are good and produce a fruit that is desirable above anything else that a human being could possibly desire.
“Once these words have taken root in your soul, you will continually seek to nourish the roots by abiding by the guidelines that you now know cause the personal peace and happiness you have experienced and will continue to desire.
“And then,
“Once you are in this promised state of personal peace and happiness, then you can read the books offered in this work. Upon reading these books, you will feel a spirit and a light that you have never felt before. Yes, you shall have all of the mysteries of life unfolded to your mind as you read these books.
“And after you have had the mysteries of life unfolded in light, a discernable light—“therefore ye must know that it is good”—you will know of a surety, without doubt, that this work is true and that it is the only work sanctioned by the creators of humankind to bring peace and happiness to this world.
“And once you know that this work is true, what is it that you will do? What is it that you will learn from the books given in this Marvelous Work and a Wonder®? What will this work tell you to do?
“Will it tell you to go to church? To believe in God? To believe in Jesus” To believe in any other man or woman? To pay a tithe? To go to the temple? To read the scriptures? To study and search for more truth? Will it tell you to do anything that you were doing prior to acting upon the words by taking the test and finally finding personal peace and happiness? (Does anyone find personal peace and happiness in doing any of these things without taking prescription medicine or feeling personal guilt constantly?)
“No it will not.
“This MARVELOUS WORK AND A WONDER® will have only one requirement of you. A requirement that if you keep, you will continue to live in a house established upon a sure foundation; one which is not affect by the winds and the rains that shall come and beat upon the house. In other words, nothing in this world will be able to affect your personal peace and happiness ever again. For the house is established on what?
“Upon the words given in the test.
“And that which is required of you from this work and is mandated by me, the only chosen messenger of our creators, is this:
“Love yourself first. This is the greatest of all the commandments.
“And once you love yourself, then love everyone else in the world as you do yourself.
“Upon these two commandments alone is this work, this Marvelous Work and a Wonder verified as the only real truth ever given to the human race, not only in this world, but in every other human world in this Universe.
“Now go.
“Take the test.
“And prove my words for yourself.
“Christopher :-)
“Here is the link to the guidelines that can be printed: MATTHEW.pdf”
[End of Christopher’s words]
NOTE: Christopher subsequently warned that “anything that you read, anything that produces a negative thought will add to the failure of the test” and that, “if the rules are not kept, the test is void and no proof can be given.” He also added that a person taking THE TEST should not read anything other than the words given in THE TEST during the 21 days.

My Experience with THE TEST
For me, based on my personal needs and desires, THE TEST has primarily been about FINDING THE KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN. I have also learned through the words of the Christ as revealed through Christopher NOT TO WORRY about my personal wants and needs and NOT TO WORRY about what others think of me. I have also learned to BE HAPPY in every experience I find myself in, which is made possible through the PEACE I experience WITHIN MY OWN KINGDOM. And I have learned how IT’S ALL GOOD, based on the perspective and measure of our mutual creators and their love for all of us, regardless what we do in mortality.
Most importantly, on DAY SIX of THE TEST, I discovered with ASSUREDNESS the KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN, and I began to experience CONSTANCY with respect to that ASSUREDNESS. On that day, I began to live WITHIN MY OWN KINGDOM, building my Kingdom upon THE ROCK of MY DISCOVERY, experienced through THE TEST.
Again, THE TEST requires, among other things, a daily reading of the Matthew 5-7, as correctly translated by Christopher through the Urim and Thummin, in which the Christ invites each of us to DISCOVER the KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN US. For those who take THE TEST, the Christ’s invitation to ENTER our OWN KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN is made THIS DAY (the day that, with sincerity and full purpose of heart, we take THE TEST and apply the words of the Christ as revealed through it). Consider the following words of the Christ (citations to chapters and verses below are based on Christopher’s translation with changes to the King James Version shown in boldface, and with my perspective given in CAPS within brackets):
“And it is this kingdom [the KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN] that I shall give unto you this day.” (5:2)
“Blessed are the poor in spirit who come unto me and learn that which the Father hath given me for them; for their spirits shall be filled and they shall enter into the kingdom of heaven [the KINDGOM OF GOD WITHIN].” (5:3)
“And blessed are they which are persecuted and mocked by others because of their righteous works; for they shall find their peace and happiness in the kingdom of heaven [the KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN].” (5:10)
“After this manner therefore pray ye always that ye be not led into temptation. Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed by thy name. Bless us that we may know and do Thy works, that thy kingdom may come among us [and BE WITHIN US] and that thy will be done on earth, as it is done in heaven.” (6:9-10)
“Therefore, seek not the things of this world, but seek ye first to build up the kingdom of God [WITHIN], and to establish his righteousness [WITHIN]; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (6:33)
“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven hath come nigh unto you. And the mysteries of the kingdom [WITHIN] ye shall keep within yourselves . ...” (7:6)
“For every one that asketh in righteousness receiveth in righteousness; and he that seeketh in righteousness, findeth in righteousness; and to him that knocketh in righteousness with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, the mysteries of the kingdom [WITHIN] shall be opened up unto him.” (7:8)
“Therefore, all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them as I have commanded you; for this is the law and the prophets and the gate by which ye shall enter the kingdom of God [WITHIN].” (7:12)
“And not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven [WITHIN]; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven. For this reason came I into the world, that all men might come unto me and be saved by the commandments that I give unto them. And these commandments are that which will prepare them to live in the kingdom of the Father [in the future PERFECT WORLD, if we learned in the IMPERFECT WORLD how to enter and maintain the KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN].” (7:21)
“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who buildeth his house [the KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN] upon a rock; behold, I am this rock, and upon this rock will I gather all those who come unto me and hearthe things that I have taught unto them this day, and who keep these sayings of mine. Behold, this is my doctrine, and whoso buildeth upon this buildeth upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them.” (7:24)
“And whoso shall declare more or less than this, and establish it for my doctrine, thesame cometh of evil, and is not built upon my rock. Therefore, build a house [THE KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN] upon my rock; and the rain shall descend, and the floods shall come, and the winds shall blow, and beat upon that house; and it shall not fall; for it is founded upon this rock.” (7:25)
As I reported above, on DAY SIX of THE TEST, by reading and applying the Christ’s words in Matthew 5-7, as translated by Christopher by the power of the Urim and Thummim, I experienced the POWER of MY HOLY GHOST, which is my ESSENCE. I learned, among other things, that I AM not Rod, and that I AM not my flesh. With that DISCOVERY, I am able better able to put off the “Rod of this world” and yield to my ESSENCE, the rightful heir to the throne WITHIN MY KINGDOM. I can determine to let my ESSENCE take charge. I can let go of the old Rod, and his old wine skin.
The Rod of this life will one day simply be a memory in my ESSENCE, as is true of every incarnation I have experienced in my many mortal existences upon this earth. Through experiencing the above, MY KINGDOM WITHIN finally became DISCERNIBLE and REAL to me in this current mortal existence; and my ESSENCE became more REAL to me and of more import than my current or past mortal identities.
How did I come to the above realization? And how will I continue to do abide in my ESSENCE, and continue to put off the old Rod? SIMPLY ... I did so by building upon the foundation laid by THE TEST, and I will do so by continuing to build upon the foundation laid by THE TEST. The words of the Christ, as translated by Christopher, when applied daily according to the requirements of THE TEST, imprint upon the imperfect human brain the “foundationalizing” words of the Christ, words consistent with how we were “foundationalized” in our ESSENCE (explained below), sufficiently to tap into the POWER of our ESSENCE.
HUMAN REALITY and the ESSENCE of Life WITHIN US
As the HUMAN REALITY book and other books associated with this Marvelous Work and a Wonder® continue to unfold the MYSTERIES of MY KINGDOM to me, I will continue to build my KINGDOM, not laying again the foundation of the ROCK, who is the Christ, our Overseer, who provided to us anew in mortality the foundationalizing words of our Father, our mutual creator, as recorded correctly by Christopher. But, because the words of the Christ were given according to the understanding of the Jews of his day, we gain much from adding to our knowledge and understanding the words offered to us in OUR DAY, in FULLNESS, given in PLAINNESS without religious trappings in the HUMAN REALITY BOOK and in the writings and translations of Christopher.
For example, the following quotes from the HUMAN REALITY book help us to understand our essence and the foundationalization experience that that is imprinted upon our essence, which is consistent with the FOUNDATION provided by the Christ for those who wish through their imperfect brain to build upon the ROCK, and tap into their ESSENCE, which allows us to build our HOUSE, OUR KINGDOM WITHIN, on the ROCK in this mortal life:
“Our first parents ‘formatted’ our essences to become human beings by providing an environment where universal standards of humanity would be the first thing we recorded as our individual memories. These first experiences set the balance, or better, became the ‘measuring stick’ with which we would compare all of our future experiences. These primordial experiences established our human conscience and provided a foundationalized alignment that will keep us in balance for the rest of our existence. The process of aligning a newly created essence can best be described as the Human Foundationalization Process. Through this process, the particular way each individual determines and experiences happiness—the reason why we exist—is established. It creates our humanity and allows us to become free-willed human beings and makes us unique from all other life forms in the Universe.” (HR 4:1)
“As explained above, the proper alignment of our primordial experiences establishes our humanity. Throughout our existence, the foundationalization we received will ensure peace and order all through the Universe, which exists for and is controlled by advanced, free-willed human beings. To allow us to act on our own, but ensure this peace and order, when we do something that makes us unhappy, we are naturally motivated to try to change the course of our actions so that we feel happy again. Therefore, our foundationalized experiences act as an ‘inner gauge’ or an emotional meter of sorts, warning us when we are not acting as a free-willed human being was foundationalized to act.” (HR 4:6)
“The Human Foundationalization Process establishes our common sense regarding what is humaneand what is not.” (HR 4:13)
“Because we existed for eons of time and experienced all there is to being a perfect advanced human being, our Foundationalization Process established and solidified who we are. We became who we will always be in this perfect primordial world.” (HR 4:23)
“Each new human being establishes the unique propensities of humanity in these advanced worlds that are without need, without sorrow, and without negativity—worlds where everyone is treated and respected equally. It is in this type of world where our first experiences were recorded in our essence. From these first experiences, we measure and judge every future experience we will ever have. This is how we develop and maintain our unique ability to reason. All we are doing in our current experience upon this earth is trying to figure out how to reproduce the feelings of balance that we recorded during our primordial, foundational life. We can succeed in this quest, however, only by relying on our common sense— that innate part of our human reason that we use to seek balance, until things make sense. Our common sense was established in our essence during our foundationalization. ... Our common sense is the ‘measure’ of our imagination and reason. If an action we are considering ‘makes sense’ to us, we do it. Unlike other organisms that have no ability to reason, and which react and adapt to their surroundings, we find ways to change the environment so that it reacts and adapts to us—until it fulfills our desire for happiness. It is within us where we find our individual happiness, the measure of which was established through a perfect Human Foundationalization Process.” (HR 4: Summary)
“Our Foundationalization Process established the standard of perfection for us, thereby eliminating any other standard of measurement by which we graded our experiences there. It also provided the standard of measurement by which we would grade our experiences of the future. Everything we did in our perfect world is what we will later recognize as the ultimate experience of human happiness, once we have experienced the opposite of perfection here. We need to experience an imperfect world so that we have a contrast with which to compare our perfect foundationalized experiences.” (HR 6:11)
“During the Human Foundationalization Process, we each individualized ourselves by using our free will to act and react within the physical and social environments of a perfect human world. Our primordial parents did not need to direct or guide our personal development. They ensured that the environment in which we received the foundationalization of our personality was such that the first impression or imprint we recorded upon our essence was one of quintessential humanity.” (HR 7:2)
“Again, the ‘power of our essence’ reflects who we really are, or better, who we chose to become during our foundationalization period. Our essence’s power does not reflect who we have become, who we act like, or who we think we are in our current imperfect world. It only reflects who we really are.” (HR 16:4)
“During the Foundationalization Process of our humanity, we developed a sense of self apart from everyone else. This “self” is who we chose to become. It makes us a unique individual, different from any other human being who has ever existed or who will ever exist in the Universe.” (HR Epilogue)
Conclusion
The anonymous author of the HUMAN REALITY book has written the following concerning the KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN US:
“Our mind is ours to control. It is our individual kingdom, surrounded by high walls and secure gates. Our kingdom is governed by its own crowned ruler, a powerful dictator of one. It is a city of refuge and peace where no person or thought is allowed inside its gates unless the king or queen within permits entrance. When a threat to our personal security (or better, our individuality) arises from without the walls of our kingdom, we shut and fortify the gates to ensure that the ruler within reigns supreme and gives up no power to the other kings and queens of the earth.” (HR Introduction)
Consistent with the above, I have learned through my own personal experience that a truly happy person, who is securely on the throne of his OWN KINGDOM WITHIN, has no concern for anything outside the self. He rejoices in the fact that, whatever condition exists outside of the self, it doesn't have the power to take away personal true happiness. This is an experience I have anticipated since coming to this Work. It is an experience I am experiencing in greater fullness through connecting with my essence and putting off the old Rod of this world, abiding in and by THE TEST administered through the words of Christopher, who has translated in fullness the foundationalizing words of the Christ.
I end my story with a favorite quote from another of the books of this Marvelous Work and a Wonder® that can be found at www.marvelousworkandawonder.com–666 The Mark of America Seat of the Beast: The Apostle John’s New Testament Revelation Unfolded, page 34. These are words that invite, entice and persuade us to FIND the KINGDOM OF GOD WITH US, and to find the SECURITY and PEACE that flow from that DISCOVERY. Of the PEACE that comes through experiencing the KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN, the book promises:
“Feeling secure is the first step in finding peace. Giving no heed or attention to what goes on outside the self promotes the ability to establish self-confidence within, and leads to security. When there is no comparison to what is outside, what is inside takes precedence over everything else. A ‘kingdom’ setup within an individual is governed by its own crowned ruler – the self. ... When threatened by those without its walls, the gates are shut, and fortified with a confidence that the king within is the greatest of all the kings of the earth. Humans who truly see themselves as distinct and unique individuals have reached self-awareness, and have no need to look outside the self for recognition or worth. There is no inward battle taking place, nor constant yearning to know oneself or be known of others. They see others as they see themselves—unique and distinct individuals fulfilling the measure of their creation. The self-awareness creates a calmness that is not affected by anything outside of self.”
May EACH OF US enter the GATE and FIND OURSELVES and our unique ESSENCE, by building our HOUSE and KINGDOM WITHIN upon the FOUNDATION of the Christ, through this WORK that is brought to us by Christopher, a BEARER OF CHRIST to the entire world.
